Abba, Father, Lord God, I am grateful for this day, aware of all the blessings You have bestowed on me, and I aware that I am not a righteous man nor may I ever become one; humbled by the realization of my nature. But I seek Thee Lord God, I have hope in the promise of Your Words which have inspired men through the ages, as they do me each day. Even when I do not understand, and I question Your meaning and purpose, I hope from the faith that You planted in my heart before I was born into this world under the sun. It is this faith that through Jesus inspires and convicts me. It is this faith which creates hope that helps me feel Your love, and in turn I am able to love in faith with hope that it will be expressed pure and selfless, so that the image of Jesus which I seek maybe scene through my eyes, and in my words and acts. Help me to touch others in this way and with this love today. I feel this need and I am trying fight off worry and anxiousness over what and how and if; so I ask that You to help me to die to myself, so I can rise in and walk with Jesus.
