TAKE HEED BEWARE OF LIVING YOUR LIFE ON RELIGIOUS “FOOD".

BY NOW YOU HAVE CERTAINLY FORGOTTEN THE FIVE LOAVES THAT FED THE FIVE THOUSAND WITH TWELVE BASKETS LEFT OVER, AND THE SEVEN LOAVES THAT FED THE FOUR THOUSAND AND THE PLENTY THAT REMAINED. BUT I AM NOT SPEAKING TO YOU ABOUT EARTHLY FOOD. NO, I HAVE COME TO WARN YOU AGAINST FEEDING ON THE IDEAS AND FALSE TEACHINGS OF THOSE WHO MARKET IN RELIGION. IN VAIN SUCH PEOPLE WORSHIP ME, TEACHING AS DOCTRINES WHAT ARE MERELY THE INVENTIONS OF MEN. PREOCCUPIED WITH THEIR OWN SUPERSTITIONS, THEY HAVE FORGOTTEN THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD.

Lord God, Abba Father, thankful and humble I seek Your help in knowing Your will, in being sure that there is less of me and more of You in all I think and do, so that I will know that what I feel is Your will not mine, and that what I do is according to that will and not any rationalization, compromise or concession to what is easier, more comfortable or familiar. For I want to be willing to serve where ever You place me, but I also want to be all that You made me to be, and I do not want to allow the essence of evil within me – pride and selfishness to trick me into making the wrong decisions any further, or to thinking in my time rather than Yours. How will I know? How can I know? Do not allow discouragement to disguise itself. Do not let fear of not knowing discourage me? Instead let each step I take be one of excitement and enthusiasm for what awaits and the chance to serve You. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Don’t give in to discouragement. If you are discouraged it is a sign of pride because it shows you trust in your own powers. Never bother about people’s opinions.  Be obedient to truth. For with humble obedience, you will never be disturbed.

Do you not yet perceive or understand? Are your hearts hardened?  18  Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember?  19  When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?" They said to him, "Twelve."  20  "And the seven for the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?" And they said to him, "Seven."  21  And he said to them, "Do you not yet understand?"
