My Daily Prayers and Readings for 05/14/2013

Abba Father You are my salvation, my strength and my defence. You alone are worthy of my complete trust. But responding to You in trust is often difficult. Teach me to trust You—to lean on Your strength, to count on Your goodness, and to expect Your faithfulness always. I come to You through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. For my one walk in and with You today, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power.(r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying in and through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
