My Daily Prayers and Readings for 09/16/2013

When you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place . . .

Abba Father in the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. To connect with You for my one walk in prayer 1 with You today. Strong in You and Your almighty power, covered in Your armor, with eyes of faith. (r or l)  Praying in the Spirit for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and for those You place in my path. Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Practicing Your presence, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
