Dear Lord God, Abba Father, today I think of Paul’s words… ‘Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.’ That is my why? The purpose? Of what I do and why I do it and in whose name I do it… for You Lord God and in Jesus name. This is a mindset change. A change that puts You first, above and in between me and everything and everyone. Gives a new reason and purpose to all I do. From when I wake, until I lay my head down to sleep I fight to stay connected to You. Forcing me to die to myself in the moments of each day. This fight some days seems all consuming and upon reflection causes me pause. I know Your all I need, but. Am I to focused on me. Am I doing enough for others. Oh how I pray for those who don’t know You. Who haven’t found or realize their why, their reason and their purpose. Help me, help them find it. Lead me, use me, ready me. Help me rise and shine, and help others to want to rise and shine. Amen
