Brothers and sisters:
To this day, whenever Moses is read,
a veil lies over the hearts of the children of Israel,
but whenever a person turns to the Lord the veil is removed.
Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is,
there is freedom.
All of us, gazing with unveiled face on the glory of the Lord,
are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory,
as from the Lord who is the Spirit.
Therefore, since we have this ministry through the mercy shown us,
we are not discouraged.
And even though our Gospel is veiled,
it is veiled for those who are perishing,
in whose case the god of this age
has blinded the minds of the unbelievers,
so that they may not see the light of the Gospel
of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
For we do not preach ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord,
and ourselves as your slaves for the sake of Jesus.
For God who said, Let light shine out of darkness,
has shone in our hearts to bring to light
the knowledge of the glory of God
on the face of Jesus Christ.

Jesus said to his disciples:
“I tell you, unless your righteousness surpasses that
of the scribes and Pharisees,
you will not enter into the Kingdom of heaven.
“You have heard that it was said to your ancestors,
You shall not kill; and whoever kills will be liable to judgment.
But I say to you, whoever is angry with his brother
will be liable to judgment,
and whoever says to his brother,
Raqa, will be answerable to the Sanhedrin,
and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ will be liable to fiery Gehenna.
Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar,
and there recall that your brother
has anything against you,
leave your gift there at the altar,
go first and be reconciled with your brother,
and then come and offer your gift.
Settle with your opponent quickly while on the way to court with him.
Otherwise your opponent will hand you over to the judge,
and the judge will hand you over to the guard,
and you will be thrown into prison.
Amen, I say to you,
you will not be
released until you have paid the last penny.”

The Burden of Anger

My prayer…
Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, Holy Spirit within me.
My merciful Lord, You call us to perfect freedom from all that burdens us. Anger burdens us. Help me to see the burden that my anger imposes upon me and help me to seek true freedom through the act of forgiveness and reconciliation. Please forgive me, dear Lord, as I forgive all who have hurt me. And give me and mine eyes the see by faith. Jesus, I trust in You.
Hear my prayers Lord God, As I pray for each of mine, I ask that You continue to bless and protect them, and teach them in Your ways and truths. Filling them with Your peace and confidence of our Your promise by letting them feel Your presence. Giving them with insight into Your wisdom of Your Word. Open their hearts. Give them eyes of faith.
I pray for those who are ill and or facing health issues; physical, mental or spiritual. I pray for their healing, recovery, wellness and awakening. Give them the strength they need to make the necessary changes needed for a healthy lifestyle anchored in You.
I pray for the persecuted and homeless. For they face challenges beyond their control or ability to change. So help them Lord. Give them eyes of faith.
I remember and pray for all of mine that have passed on to You. Mom and Dub, Dad, Abuelita and Abuelito, Titi Evelyn and Fernando, Nana and Coco, Titi Lisa and Manuel, Louie, Uncle Mike and Carmen, Rosa, Titi Mary and Harold, Titi Gladys, Titi Nelly, Abuelo Angel, Abuela, Bryce, Robert, Matthew, David and Dave, Peggy, and Terri, all those not listed but often remembered. I ask that You bless and heal those still grieving from their loss.
Lord, I am also praying for a true awakening and revival. One that unites us in the name of Jesus. And stops the tribalism that divides us, believers and nones. Only You can bring this into being. So I pray to You. Help us to always be ready for Your return.
I also lift up in prayer our leaders, at Church, government and civic positions. Awaken their souls to follow Your truths and the righteousness of service. And the evil of corruption, power and greed.
Not my will, but Yours Lord God.
Jesus, Mary, I love You, save souls.
In Jesus name I pray.
