One Walk

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 06/14/2012

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,

Abba Father one thing I know, but have yet to fully grasp if the more I seek You and the closer I feel to You the more I feel as if I am not from this world. Learning to walk as one with You through Jesus isn’t easy and there is much I don’t comprehend, but I do know the peace I feel and the love I feel defies logic. So I do all I know I can do, is look to You and ask that in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus today. Make me a channel of Your peace and love, strength my faith as I stand having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
