Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 10/20/2012

Abba Father in everything I do help me remember I do it for You. I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ who lives within me through the Holy Spirit so that You would create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with You. I start each day from here, I clean slate, with mind and heart open to Your Words and direction. I hope and pray each day that You will show and teach me how to be a channel of Your peace and love in all situations will all people; giving everything I do all I can give in each moment, without fear of regret or lose. I ask that You will help me stand having girded my waist with truth, for from here I see clearly with eyes of faith, and I put on the breastplate of righteousness to rise above the temptation under the sun, and I shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace to stay humble in spirit with Jesus by my side; above all, I take the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one, who roams waiting for me to stumble over myself selfish pride and lust for the things under the sun. So I pray without ceasing that You continue to bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will, and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us, for this is why we are here. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
