My Daily Prayers and Readings for 02/04/2014

Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever. They will  have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LORD.

Lord God, my heart is steadfast in the midst of changing circumstances. You are the sovereign Lord who holds the universe and my life in Your hand. May my life and leadership today reflect confidence in Your presence and guidance.1 Create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l)  Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying in through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert to always pray for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
