We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

I start my One Walk with Jesus today with…

A thought…

We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

Christian faith is not a system. It cannot be portrayed as a complete, finished intellectual construction. It is a path, and it is characteristic of a path that it only becomes recognizable if you enter on it and start following it.

I’m thankful for…

God’s unconditional love, His endless mercy and grace and for Jesus Christ. Today the day the Lord has made. My wife and family; my kids, and grandkids, my brother, sisters and cousin, and their families. True Image Landscaping. And the this time with my God, my Lord and Savior, in and with the Holy Spirit.

A prayer…

Dear Lord God, Abba Father, thank for today. For all You put in my path each day. The good and the not so good. For I know the truth that through it all You are with me. And each day and with the past You will use everything for Your good through me. I just need to stay focused on You and Your will. I ask that You continue to bless me and mine, keeping us from evil and causing pain. Today ‘Sanctity of Life Emphasis Day’ and this month which is ‘Sanctity of Life Month’ I also ask that Your comfort for all those like me that have to deal with the regret of their youth and sinful selfish mistakes. In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

A verse…

Jesus said, "You have no idea what you’re asking. Are you capable of drinking the cup I drink, of being baptized in the baptism I’m about to be plunged into?"
Mark 10:38 MSG

A reading…

The Good News From Mark
James and John had a simple request for Jesus: “Let one of us sit at your right and the other at your left in your glory.” But this shows they were more interested in political power than in Christ’s true purpose. Hear the whole story on the next HAVEN Today with Charles Morris as he digs into Mark 10 in a series called "The Good News from Mark."

The Words written in red…

In The Words Jesus of Nazareth, Lee Cantelon compiled Jesus’ words thematically, in clear and modern English, for non-Christians, spiritual seekers, agnostics and believers. Just like I believe everyone should read the Bible, or start with the New Testament from beginning to end, or at least start with the four Gospels starting with John Luke Matthew and Mark. Or the Words written in red, those spoken by Jesus.
