A thought…

St. Therese wrote that prayer is above all ‘a surge of the heart toward God.’ That doesn’ t mean that we should never use words to pray, but it does mean that true prayer is always an expression of personal relationship in which your heart reaches toward the heart of God.

A prayer…

Dear Lord God, Abba Father, Jesus my Savior, thank You for each new day and for Your continued blessings. For all You bring my way throughout the day to keep me going and focused on You. Though the days are long and trying, Your sweet touch reminds me of my why, Your why, the bigger eternal picture. It’s in theses moments I get just enough wisdom and understanding to forget about me and focus on You and the one You place in front of me. Thank You. In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
