Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love…

One Walk with Jesus requires an open heart…

A thought…

[At the crucifixion] right when the Devil thinks he’s defeating God, God defeats him. This is how God takes things that are bad and makes them for good. All things works together for good for those who love God and are called according to his purposes.

Living in the Psalms
After sending Uriah to his death, King David famously took the newly widowed Bathsheba for himself. But he didn’t get away with it. In Psalm 51 we find David’s confession and plea for forgiveness. On the next HAVEN Today Charles Morris expounds on this great confession in a series called “Living in the Psalms.”

A verse or two…

Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins.
Psalm 51:1 NLT

Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.
Psalm 51:10 NLT

Psalm 51

A prayer…

Dear Lord God, Abba Father, thank for today and for Your blessings. For Your mercy in not giving us what we deserve, but by Your grace giving us what we don’t. Open our hearts to our nature. Continue to teach us to walk as one with You through Jesus in the Holy Spirit, full of mercy and grace. In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
