And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one Matthew 6:13 NIV

One Walk with Jesus is knowing you’re in the world, but not of the world… for we were made to be courageous.

A verse…

A prayer…

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You for this day You created. Though I know challenges await, I also know You are with me. Thank You for all Your blessings. For each of mine. For days readings and devotion.
Gracious God, at first I find unsettling the notion that the days are evil. I don’t want this to be true. I want to be more optimistic. Yet as I reflect on the world around me, though there is goodness to be found, there is also plenty of evil. I see it in major tragedies, in pernicious violence, in dignity-denying racism, and, if I’m honest, in my own heart and actions. I am not untouched by evil, nor am I completely free of its grip.
Thus, today I pray that you’ll give us eyes to see what is real. Take off the blinders that keep me from seeing what’s wrong in the world and in my own heart. With Jesus I pray, “Deliver us from the evil one.” Deliver me and mine, O God, from evil. Set us free from the sin that holds us fast. Use us as an instrument of your goodness and justice as we oppose evil in all of its forms.
All praise to you, Lord Jesus, because yours is the victory over evil, sin, and death.

In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Lords Prayer

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.
