Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:20

One Walk with Jesus is knowing you’re in the world, but not of the world… so like the two criminals crucified with Christ personify there are two options available to everyone. Both are sinners; both are able to look directly upon the King. But one sees only a fellow criminal—a target for angry, despairing mockery. Yet the other sees an innocent man; even more, he sees a King: “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” What do you see? What do you choose?

“My kingship is not of this world; if my kingship were of this world, my servants would fight…”
John 18:36

In Quas Primas, his 1925 encyclical that introduced the Feast of Christ the King, Pope Pius XI reflected on the nature of the Kingdom proclaimed by Jesus Christ. His kingdom, the pontiff noted, “is spiritual and is concerned with spiritual things.”

“While it slowly grows, the Church strains toward the completed Kingdom and, with all its strength, hopes and desires to be united in glory with its King” (Lumen Gentium, 5).

Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 5:20

A prayer…

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You for teaching me to be thankful. To see Jesus Christ for all He is, my Lord, my Savior, my King, one with You and the Holy Spirit. For awakening me and mine to You and that we are in but not of this world. This world and everything in it is Satan’s. But with Jesus we can begin to see, find and experience Heaven on earth. It starts with a thankful heart, and choosing to walk with Jesus. Learning to want and learn how to put and keep Him above all else. Praying without ceasing, with the faith to ask all things in His name, and the hope that He will show us His will for us no matter what comes. Always grateful for all and expressing it in love for all. For all this and each of mine I praise You, I worship You, I seek Your face. In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Lords Prayer

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

O my Jesus

O my Jesus, have mercy on us. Forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Take all souls into heaven, especially, those most in need of thy mercy.
Amen.

Nicene Creed

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.
Amen.
