One Walk with Jesus is knowing you’re in the world, but not of the world… so always give thanks for this truth and for Jesus, who walks with you.
Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You for the blessing of family and the gift of being able to gather together in Your name and give thanks.
For everything in heaven and earth is yours.
1 Chronicles 29:11
I ask God for deeper understanding of gratitude and praise. May I have the heart of the psalmist who said, “Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits” Psalms 103:2

“The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.”

Daniel 7:13-14
As the visions during the night continued, I saw.
One like a son of man coming,
on the clouds of heaven;
When he reached the Ancient One
and was presented before him,
He received dominion, glory, and kingship;
nations and peoples of every language serve him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion
that shall not be taken away,
his kingship shall not be destroyed.
Luke 21:29-31
Jesus told his disciples a parable.
“Consider the fig tree and all the other trees.
When their buds burst open,
you see for yourselves and know that summer is now near;
in the same way, when you see these things happening,
know that the Kingdom of God is near.
Daily Catholic Wisdom…
When we choose the poor, we can always be sure of not going wrong. … When we choose an ideology, we can never be sure of not being at least partly wrong. When we have complied with an ideology, we can never be sure of having taken the right course. When we choose the poor, we are always sure, doubly sure, of having made a good choice. We have chosen like Jesus. And we have chosen Jesus.
Henri de Lubac
from Paradoxes of Faith
Like a vise the busyness of the world squeezes out the time we take to give thanks and praise to our Lord God. Yet if we keep our eyes on Jesus we have the gift of Advent to awaken and focus us on what we should be most thankful for, Jesus. So let us all use the season of Advent to develop a mindset of thankfulness for the Christmas season before us, and develop the attitude of gratitude for the new year to come. Always mindful and praying for all those in need, alone and walking without their Lord and Savior Jesus. Let this Advent and Christmas bring them home to Him.
In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Lords Prayer
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
O my Jesus
O my Jesus, have mercy on us. Forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Take all souls into heaven, especially, those most in need of thy mercy.
Amen.
Nicene Creed
I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.
Amen.
