Gospel Matthew 7:21-29
Jesus said to his disciples:
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’
will enter the Kingdom of heaven,
but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.
Many will say to me on that day,
‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name?
Did we not drive out demons in your name?
Did we not do mighty deeds in your name?’
Then I will declare to them solemnly,
‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you evildoers.’
“Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them
will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.
The rain fell, the floods came,
and the winds blew and buffeted the house.
But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock.
And everyone who listens to these words of mine
but does not act on them
will be like a fool who built his house on sand.
The rain fell, the floods came,
and the winds blew and buffeted the house.
And it collapsed and was completely ruined.”
When Jesus finished these words,
the crowds were astonished at his teaching,
for he taught them as one having authority,
and not as their scribes.

My prayer…
Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You for calling me and mine to You. To be Your children. To hear Your voice through Your Words. There so much I don’t understand especially right now as some lost souls seek to remove and erase You from view. But they can never remove You from our presence.
I expect things will continue to get worse until You return. And I pray for my children and grandchildren and their children who will have to face a persecuted life for following You.
But its all our fault, for we have failed You, by putting You off. Not teaching our children about You. Allowing others to influence their thoughts. Forgive us Lord. Help us now to stand up and defend our faith. Bring about a revival like never before.
Help us answer the shouting with truth. Answer the shoving with steadfast courage. And if and when the shooting starts with Your wisdom and guidance.
Help us Jesus.
Jesus, Mary, I love You, save souls. In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
