Gospel Matthew 8:23-27
As Jesus got into a boat, his disciples followed him.
Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea,
so that the boat was being swamped by waves;
but he was asleep.
They came and woke him, saying,
“Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
He said to them, “Why are you terrified, O you of little faith?”
Then he got up, rebuked the winds and the sea,
and there was great calm.
The men were amazed and said, “What sort of man is this,

My prayer…
Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You for today’s readings and Gospel. Oh how I thirst for Your Word. I wake with anticipation for each days readings. To see what You have to say to me today. I surround myself in Jesus, knowing I will find peace, wisdom, strength and courage for what each day will bring.
I pray for me and mine. That we will always thirst for Your Word. Love and follow You. Stand Up for You, Stand Up for Your Church. Stand Up for our Country. Like each of us and Your Church and Our Country with all it’s flaws and failures is after Your heart. The body of Jesus. Built on Your truths and freedoms.
Ready us for the battle ahead. Guide us, strengthen us and give us the courage to Stand Up.
Jesus, Mary, I love You, save souls. In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages.
