Gospel Matthew 23:1-12
Jesus spoke to the crowds and to his disciples, saying,
“The scribes and the Pharisees
have taken their seat on the chair of Moses.
Therefore, do and observe all things whatsoever they tell you,
but do not follow their example.
For they preach but they do not practice.
They tie up heavy burdens hard to carry
and lay them on people’s shoulders,
but they will not lift a finger to move them.
All their works are performed to be seen.
They widen their phylacteries and lengthen their tassels.
They love places of honor at banquets, seats of honor in synagogues,
greetings in marketplaces, and the salutation ‘Rabbi.’

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You teaching me. Many are the times that I reflect on ‘what if’, but then realize You use all things for Your glory. So I hope and pray.
I pray for me and mine. That we will grow in You together. Helping each other and those You put in our path to want to know and grow in You.
Keep teaching, keep showing us Your ways, Your heart. What You care about and want us to care about.
Jesus, Mary, I love You, save souls.

Apostles (Nicene) Creed
I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
