Gospel Matthew 5:17-19
Jesus said to his disciples:
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets.
I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.
Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away,
not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter
will pass from the law,
until all things have taken place.
Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments
and teaches others to do so
will be called least in the Kingdom of heaven.
But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments
will be called greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.”

Grace to Be Faithful
Jesus came not to abolish the law but fulfill it. There is not a radical discontinuity between the laws of the Old Testament and that of the New. Instead, Christ comes and gives us the grace to be faithful to the law through the Holy Spirit.

My prayer…
Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, Holy Spirit within me. Thank You for Your Word. In a time when so many Priests and Bishops are trying to change the teachings of Your Church. We need You more than ever in my life time to ‘Teach us your paths, my God, and guide us in your truth.’ For only in You can we find truth. So fill us with grace, having mercy on us. Help each of us seeking truth to find it in You.
This is my prayer, for me and each of mine, and theirs. Hear my prayer.
Not my will, but Yours Lord God.
Jesus, Mary, I love You, save souls.
In Jesus name I pray.

Apostles (Nicene) Creed
I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
