Words of Jesus
When he came down from the mountain, great crowds followed him; and behold, a leper came to him and knelt before him, saying, "Lord, if you will, you can make me clean." And he stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, "I will; be clean." And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus said to him, "See that you say nothing to any one; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a proof to the people."
Matthew 8: 1 – 4

Abba, Father, Lord God, I do thank You for all Your blessings for I know I have been a poor steward and left to others the teaching of You to my children to others, but still You continued to bless me and Your mercy and grace continues rains down upon me. So my eyes continue to look upward to You and I with all supplication I come to You each day to seek Your will for I know mine will is still unclean. I ask and pray in Jesus name as the leper “Lord, if you will, You can make me clean.” And now knowing You hear my every thought, word and prayer, I know I must do my part and walk with eyes of faith, creating hope in everything and way through love, unconditional love with the simplest of goals; to do You will and to be able to leave my time under the sun knowing that ‘me and my house serve You Lord God first and above all. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Audio books I am listening to and other books or readings I am reading:
The Shack Mackenzie Allen Philips’ youngest daughter, Missy, has been abducted during a family vacation and evidence that she may have been brutally murdered is found in an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Four years later in the midst of his Great Sadness, Mack receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for a weekend. Against his better judgment he arrives at the shack on a wintry afternoon and walks back into his darkest nightmare. What he finds there will change Mack’s world forever. In a world where religion seems to grow increasingly irrelevant "The Shack" wrestles with the timeless question, "Where is God in a world so filled with unspeakable pain?" The answers Mack gets will astound you and perhaps transform you as much as it did him. You’ll want everyone you know to read this book!
