Sometimes hatred is charming, while love must show itself severe.

The Words of Jesus of Nazareth by Lee Cantelon

Following the Resurrection

Oh fools, so slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Should not Christ have suffered all of these things and then enter into his glory? Be faithless no longer, but believe.

This is what I have told you from the beginning, that all things must be fulfilled which are written in the law of Moses, and by the prophets, and by the Psalm-writers, concerning me! Christ must suffer, and then rise from the dead on the third day; that repentance and forgiveness of sins might be preached in his name among all nations, beginning in Jerusalem.

I know from where I have come, and where I will go. You cannot tell from where I have come, or where I am going. You are from the earth. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world.

No one has ascended up to heaven, except he that has come down from heaven, the Son of God who is in heaven. Go, tell my brothers that I will ascend to my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Why are you troubled, allowing doubt to fill your minds? Be in peace. Witness my hands and my feet. Touch me, and verify my resurrected body; for a ghost does not appear having flesh and bones. Because you have seen me, you believe. More blessed are those who come after you, who having not seen me, believe.

In a little while, the world will see me no more; but my presence will remain with you; and because I live, you will live also.

Lord God, Abba Father, thankful and humbly I ask and pray for guidance, perseverance and Your hand in helping me walk in the Spirit, producing the fruit of the Spirit with all those You place in my path. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Hebrews 2:5-12

5  For it was not to angels that God subjected the world to come, of which we are speaking.  6  It has been testified somewhere, "What is man that thou art mindful of him, or the son of man, that thou carest for him?  7  Thou didst make him for a little while lower than the angels, thou hast crowned him with glory and honor,  8  putting everything in subjection under his feet."Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. As it is, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him.  9  But we see Jesus, who for a little while was made lower than the angels, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for every one.  10  For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through suffering.  11  For he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified have all one origin. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brethren,  12  saying, "I will proclaim thy name to my brethren, in the midst of the congregation I will praise thee."
Psalm 8:2, 5-9
Mark 1:21-28

21  And they went into Caper’na-um; and immediately on the sabbath he entered the synagogue and taught.  22  And they were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as one who had authority, and not as the scribes.  23  And immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit;  24  and he cried out, "What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God."  25  But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be silent, and come out of him!"  26  And the unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him.  27  And they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, "What is this? A new teaching! With authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him."  28  And at once his fame spread everywhere throughout all the surrounding region of Galilee.

Audio books I am listening to and other books or readings I am reading:

When Heaven Invades Earth Unabridged By Bill Johnson Narrated by Tim Lundeen – When Heaven Invades Earth is a powerful statement and testimony on the Kingdom of God. Theologically sound, well supported, and extremely well argued, this message provides a carefully constructed biblical foundation for the average Christian to live and walk in the miraculous power of God. Not only is the supernatural possible, it is our commission. The Great Commission that Christ gave the Church challenges us and makes us responsible to rise up to this supreme supernatural calling. Johnson explains how we are called to dominion in the earth through the divine rule of God.
