One Walk

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 10/11/2013

“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish,  will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to  your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who  ask him!”

Abba Father, I trust the goodness of Your heart and Your willingness to give me what I need to live today. With hands open, I pray1 that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For my one walk in and with You today, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l)  Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will, and for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
