Joy to the world, the Lord is come

OneWalk with Jesus

A thought…

Joy of Jesus Christ is something no one can take only you can give it up. Don’t be a garbage dump, keep your joy. Focus on Jesus.

I’m thankful for…

The joy of knowing Jesus, the joy I get from my family – whether together or apart they’re always in my heart, my health and the ability to do what I need to do. For today a new day with new chances and opportunities to reflect Jesus’s presence in me. The job we are doing. The productive and peaceful day we had yesterday. The chance to do it again today. For getting to Homestead and back without problems and being able to complete the job as planned. For all the things we still have to do, for while the list is long and time is short; together we can finish the race.

A prayer…

Dear Lord God, Abba Father, thank You for again using my son to teach me. For letting me know he too is a man after Your heart. You know how the thing I desire most is to know my children and grandchildren to know and have a relationship with You. The world under the sun is tough. Always has been and always will be. They will always be pain and suffering with so many things we can’t control. BUT JESUS over came the world and in Him we have joy. JOY
In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

A verse…

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
Luke 2:10-11

The Words written in red…

Herein lies the way to eternal life: know the only true God and Jesus Christ, the one sent to you by God. Take my words to heart. For God so loved the world that he offered his only Son a living sacrifice, that whoever believes in him will not perish, but be redeemed and have everlasting life. This good news of the kingdom shall be preached to the entire world as a witness to all nations; and then shall the end come.

In The Words Jesus of Nazareth, Lee Cantelon compiled Jesus’ words thematically, in clear and modern English, for non-Christians, spiritual seekers, agnostics and believers.
