Think of yourselves the way Christ Jesus thought of himself.

OneWalk with Jesus

A thought…

I acknowledge my need for God, to show me the way, to teach me the truth, to give me life.

I’m thankful for…

Jesus my Lord and Savior, my family, my health, the new jobs we received, the prayer with my son and the time we had to talk, the time I got to spend with my granddaughters, the productive, peaceful and blessed day we had yesterday. The prayer time with my wife.

A prayer…

Dear Lord God, Abba Father, thank You for all Your blessings. I need You in every moment of my life. To guide me. To show me the way and to teach me the truth. Stay close to me and mine. Continue to bless me and mine. Lay Your hand over us to keep us from evil and causing pain. Lord You say that where two or more are gathered in Your name, You are present. Be with me and mine today as we pray together. In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

A verse…

Think of yourselves the way Christ Jesus thought of himself. He had equal status with God but didn’t think so much of himself that he had to cling to the advantages of that status no matter what. Not at all. When the time came, he set aside the privileges of deity and took on the status of a slave, became human! Having become human, he stayed human. It was an incredibly humbling process. He didn’t claim special privileges. Instead, he lived a selfless, obedient life and then died a selfless, obedient death-and the worst kind of death at that-a crucifixion.
Philippians 2:5-8 MSG

The Words written in red…

I am come to be the light of the world. If you believe in me, you will no longer live your life in darkness. If you follow me, you will never walk in darkness again, but live your life in light. Believe in me and you will become
children of the light.

In The Words Jesus of Nazareth, Lee Cantelon compiled Jesus’ words thematically, in clear and modern English, for non-Christians, spiritual seekers, agnostics and believers.
