Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

On weekends my One Walk with Jesus is generally more reflective… the experience of being in the Word and learning more about God’s truths overwhelming

A Song…

Dear Younger Me

A thought…

It’s so hard to express my need for staying connected to Jesus by surrounding myself in God’s Word and worshiping Him throughout each day. The closest example I can think and relate it to is the need to breathe.

And with each day I see just how much truth is in today’s verse. And how big the lies are of the worldly ways under the sun. So while I didn’t wake up until I was in the second half of my walk under the sun. I’m thankful I was awakened to the truth.

I’m thankful for…

This day the Lord God and Abba Father has made, every blessing He has bestowed on me and mine starting with, hearing His call for me to learn to follow Him and to stop being just another disobedient believer, my family, my health. His grace and mercy. That He is a God of second chances and new beginnings, new opportunities. For this time to get close, get in the Word, learn more truths.

A prayer…

Dear Lord God, Abba Father, thank You! For even though I get disconnected from You and often stumble or fall as a result. You are always there for me and mine. Your Words and Truth draw me closer. Help me to share this experience by example. Help me to stay connected to You. To grow in knowledge and wisdom of Your Words and Truth, and the ability to express my faith, hope and love in and for You. So I pray that this new year will be more grounded in Your Words and Truths for me and mine. And that You will bless us with the wisdom see through the lies of the worldly ways under the sun. And to help us teach our children and grandchildren this truth. In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

A verse…

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Hebrews 13:8 NLT

A reading…

The Gospel of Mark

The beginning of the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God…

The Words written in red…

In The Words Jesus of Nazareth, Lee Cantelon compiled Jesus’ words thematically, in clear and modern English, for non-Christians, spiritual seekers, agnostics and believers. Just like I believe everyone should read the Bible, or start with the New Testament from beginning to end, or at least start with the four Gospels starting with John Luke Matthew and Mark. Or the Words written in red, those spoken by Jesus.

More… devotions, sermons and programs that impacted and made me think and pray for God’s wisdom and guidance
