Romans 7:18-25
Brothers and sisters:
I know that good does not dwell in me, that is, in my flesh.
The willing is ready at hand, but doing the good is not.
For I do not do the good I want,
but I do the evil I do not want.
Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it,
but sin that dwells in me.
So, then, I discover the principle
that when I want to do right, evil is at hand.
For I take delight in the law of God, in my inner self,
but I see in my members another principle
at war with the law of my mind,
taking me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.
Miserable one that I am!

A prayer…
Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You for being all I need. Yet You bless me with each of mine. You create this new day. You rain down through Your endless love the grace and mercy we need for each day. Why do we look elsewhere? How do we allow ourselves to be distracted from You? Only You know better than we know ourselves. Help us God. Heal those sick and hurting. But let Thy will be done and keep walking with us. Hear my prayers for Your Church, this Country and it’s leaders who’ve lost their way. In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
