Gospel Luke 10:25-37

There was a scholar of the law who stood up to test Jesus and said,
“Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
Jesus said to him, “What is written in the law?
How do you read it?”
He said in reply,
“You shall love the Lord, your God,
with all your heart,
with all your being,
with all your strength,
and with all your mind,
and your neighbor as yourself.”
He replied to him, “You have answered correctly;
do this and you will live.”
But because he wished to justify himself, he said to Jesus,
“And who is my neighbor?”
Jesus replied,
“A man fell victim to robbers
as he went down from Jerusalem to Jericho.
They stripped and beat him and went off leaving him half-dead.
A priest happened to be going down that road,
but when he saw him, he passed by on the opposite side.
Likewise a Levite came to the place,
and when he saw him, he passed by on the opposite side.
But a Samaritan traveler who came upon him
was moved with compassion at the sight.
He approached the victim,
poured oil and wine over his wounds and bandaged them.
Then he lifted him up on his own animal,
took him to an inn, and cared for him.
The next day he took out two silver coins
and gave them to the innkeeper with the instruction,
‘Take care of him.
If you spend more than what I have given you,
I shall repay you on my way back.’
Which of these three, in your opinion,
was neighbor to the robbers’ victim?”
He answered, “The one who treated him with mercy.”
Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You. You give me so much to be thankful for. Help me to show my gratitude in the way I treat others. With the same mercy and grace You give me. For the gift of resting in Your presence with mine.
For I seek Your truths. So in this world filled with so much misinformation and lies. Help me and mine know Your truths above all. And learn to practice the same mercy and grace You give us with those You put in our path.
Hear my prayer. Jesus, Mary, I love You, save souls.

“The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few;
so ask the master of the harvest
to send out laborers for his harvest.
Go on your way;
behold, I am sending you like lambs among wolves.
Carry no money bag, no sack, no sandals;
and greet no one along the way.
Into whatever house you enter, first say,
‘Peace to this household.’
If a peaceful person lives there,
your peace will rest on him;
but if not, it will return to you.
Stay in the same house and eat and drink what is offered to you,
for the laborer deserves his payment.
Do not move about from one house to another.

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You for walking with me and mine. The world can far to often seem hopeless, lost in the selfishness it breeds. But in and with You I find what I need to have faith, hope and love.
In this time with You each morning I open myself up to You completely. For Your to convict and move me. I know I’m lost without You. So I pray all the more for each of mine. For all those You put in my path. For all the lost and confused.

As I watched:
Thrones were set up
and the Ancient One took his throne.
His clothing was bright as snow,
and the hair on his head as white as wool;
His throne was flames of fire,
with wheels of burning fire.
A surging stream of fire
flowed out from where he sat;
Thousands upon thousands were ministering to him,
and myriads upon myriads attended him.
The court was convened, and the books were opened.
As the visions during the night continued, I saw
One like a son of man coming,

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You for today’s reading and Gospel. For reminding us the battle is Yours, and we are to praise, pray, worship and obey. Trusting in Your Word of Truth, and that through Jesus all the evil in the world has been overcome and defeated.
Hear my prayers today. For me and mine. For a President Trump. For all the Bishops and Priests, the Ministers of the Faith that stand up in faith for Your truth. Protect them, guide them. For Your Church, help us cleanse it of the evil that has infiltrated it. Help us unite the clans. Bring clarity to Jesus’s commands for His Church.
I also pray for are the lost souls misled by the evil ones lies. Jesus, Mary, I love You, save souls.

One day, when the angels of God came to present themselves before the LORD,
Satan also came among them.
And the LORD said to Satan, “Whence do you come?”

“From roaming the earth and patrolling it.”
And the LORD said to Satan, “Have you noticed my servant Job,
and that there is no one on earth like him,
blameless and upright, fearing God and avoiding evil?”
But Satan answered the LORD and said,
“Is it for nothing that Job is God-fearing?
Have you not surrounded him and his family
and all that he has with your protection?
You have blessed the work of his hands,
and his livestock are spread over the land.
But now put forth your hand and touch anything that he has,

While he was yet speaking, another messenger came and said,
“The Chaldeans formed three columns,
seized the camels, carried them off,
and put those tending them to the sword,
and I alone have escaped to tell you.”
While he was yet speaking, another came and said,
“Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine
in the house of their eldest brother,
when suddenly a great wind came across the desert
and smote the four corners of the house.
It fell upon the young people and they are dead;
and I alone have escaped to tell you.”
Then Job began to tear his cloak and cut off his hair.
He cast himself prostrate upon the ground, and said,
“Naked I came forth from my mother’s womb,
and naked shall I go back again.
The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away;

My prayer…

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, help us, hear our cries and prayers… right here, right now.
We can’t remain lukewarm. We must decide… like the two sons in today’s Gospel. Will we continue to give You lip service and say yes, then do nothing. Or will we wake up from our sleep and start right here, right now to do what You tell us. I don’t and can’t believe that anyone thinks You don’t exist. They cannot believe in You, but that’s still acknowledges You exist.
So I pray for all believers and nonbelievers to wake up and start fighting for all we have before we lose it.
Jesus, Mary, I love You, have mercy on us, wake up the sleepers and save souls.
In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Apostles (Nicene) Creed

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven,
