Reading I Haggai 2:1-9
In the second year of King Darius,
on the twenty-first day of the seventh month,
the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai:
Tell this to the governor of Judah,
Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel,
and to the high priest Joshua, son of Jehozadak,
and to the remnant of the people:
Who is left among you
that saw this house in its former glory?
And how do you see it now?
Does it not seem like nothing in your eyes?
But now take courage, Zerubbabel, says the LORD,
and take courage, Joshua, high priest, son of Jehozadak,
And take courage, all you people of the land,
says the LORD, and work!
For I am with you, says the LORD of hosts.
This is the pact that I made with you
when you came out of Egypt,
And my spirit continues in your midst;

One moment yet, a little while,

Formed: Small Beginnings
Today, Dr. Gray continues to explain the reading from the Book of Haggai. Israel is invited to return to the Lord so that they can be restored and renewed. This call is also extended to the Church today. Examine where the Lord is inviting you, in order to return to him in love and obedience.
My prayer…
Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, Holy Spirit within me. Here I am Lord, listening attentively. Thankful for each and every blessing. Especially each of mine and theirs. My hope is in You Lord God. Your Words and promises. And I praise You always, starting each day with You, and seeking to walk with You throughout it.
Hear my prayers Lord. For me, mine and theirs. Continue to teach us Your ways and give us a discerning heart for the times we are in. Bless and protect us from the evil that surrounds us.
Not my will, but Yours Lord God.
Jesus, Mary, I love You, save souls.
In Jesus name I pray.
