Israel loved Joseph best of all his sons,
for he was the child of his old age;
and he had made him a long tunic.
When his brothers saw that their father loved him best of all his sons,
they hated him so much that they would not even greet him.

One day, when his brothers had gone
to pasture their father’s flocks at Shechem,
Israel said to Joseph,
"Your brothers, you know, are tending our flocks at Shechem.
Get ready; I will send you to them."

So Joseph went after his brothers and caught up with them in Dothan.
They noticed him from a distance,
and before he came up to them, they plotted to kill him.
They said to one another: "Here comes that master dreamer!
Come on, let us kill him and throw him into one of the cisterns here;
we could say that a wild beast devoured him.
We shall then see what comes of his dreams."

When Reuben heard this,
he tried to save him from their hands, saying,
"We must not take his life.
Instead of shedding blood," he continued,
"just throw him into that cistern there in the desert;
but do not kill him outright."
His purpose was to rescue him from their hands
and return him to his father.
So when Joseph came up to them,
they stripped him of the long tunic he had on;
then they took him and threw him into the cistern,
which was empty and dry.

They then sat down to their meal.
Looking up, they saw a caravan of Ishmaelites coming from Gilead,
their camels laden with gum, balm and resin
to be taken down to Egypt.
Judah said to his brothers:
"What is to be gained by killing our brother and concealing his blood?
Rather, let us sell him to these Ishmaelites,
instead of doing away with him ourselves.
After all, he is our brother, our own flesh."
His brothers agreed.
They sold Joseph to
the Ishmaelites for twenty pieces of silver.

""Hear another parable.
There was a landowner who planted a vineyard,
put a hedge around it,

But the tenants seized the servants and one they beat,
another they killed, and a third they stoned.
Again he sent other servants, more numerous than the first ones,

But when the tenants saw the son, they said to one another,
‘This is the heir.
Come, let us kill him and acquire his inheritance.’
They seized him, threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.

""He will put those wretched men to a wretched death
and lease his vineyard to other tenants
who will give him the produce at the proper times.""
Jesus said to them, ""Did you never read in the Scriptures:

The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;
by the Lord has this been done,
and it is wonderful in our eyes?

Therefore, I say to you,
the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you
and given to a people that will produce its fruit.""
When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables,
they knew that he was speaking about them.
And although they were attempting to arrest him,
they feared the crowds, for they regarded him as a prophet.

My prayer…

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, Holy Spirit within me.
My glorious King, I pray that Your Kingdom will grow and that many souls will come to know You as their Lord and God. Use me and mine, dear Lord, for the upbuilding of that Kingdom and help all our actions in life to bear abundant and good fruit. For the world is a deceitful place to walk through without You. And we all seek truth. But we are flawed by our human nature. Only in and with You can we be fulfilled.
You have blessed me beyond measure. Thank You for walking with me and mine. For forgiving me through the body, blood and passion of my Lord Jesus Christ. Use me, and help me show mine my love and total surrender to You. Oh that You will continue to teach us, draw us close to You together in our love for You and each other. Guide us, bless and protect us.
Always hearing our prayers!
Praying for my boy and his family. Hold them close and continue to show them Your presence. Laying Your healing hand upon them.
Praying for those who are ill and or facing health issues. Praying for their healing, recovery, wellness and awakening. Give them the strength they need to make the necessary changes needed for a healthy lifestyle anchored in You.
Praying for the persecuted and homeless. For they face challenges beyond their control or ability to change their lives. So help them Lord.
Remembering all of mine that have passed on to You. Mom, Dub, Dad, Abuelita and Abuelito, Titi Evelyn and Fernando, Nana and Coco, Titi Lisa and Manuel, Louie, Rosa, Titi Mary, Harold, Titi Gladys, Titi Nelly, Abuelo Angel, Abuela, Bryce, Robert, Matthew, David and David, Peggy, and Terri, all those not listed but often remembered. Bless and heal those still grieving from their passing.
Lord, I am also praying for a true awakening and revival. One that unites us in the name of Jesus. And stops the tribalism that divides us, believers and nones. Only You can bring this into being. So I pray.

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, Holy Spirit within me.
My Lord of true riches, You chose to be poor in this world as a sign to us that true riches come not with material wealth but with love. Help me and mine to love You, my God, with all our being and to love others as You love them. May we be wise enough to make spiritual riches our single goal in life so that these riches will be enjoyed for all eternity.

The world and it’s evil ruler throws everything he can at us to scare and distract us from You. Your grace and mercy. Your truth and promise. Protect our hearts and give us discernment to know Your truth over the lies of the world and the evil one.
Thank You for walking with us. For being there to point out Your truth. To give us courage and strength to stand up for Your truth. For hearing our prayers!

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, Holy Spirit within me.
My suffering Lord, You freely embraced the injustice of the Cross with love and courage. You saw beyond the apparent scandal and suffering and transformed the evil done to You into the greatest act of love ever known. Give me the grace to imitate Your perfect love and to do so with the strength and confidence that You had. Help me be a witness to those lost or confused by the fear and hate that feeds the cancel culture.
Continue to walk with me and mine. Giving us a discerning ear and heart for Your truth. Help us to practice our faith through training for godliness. Teach us, guide us. Bless and protect us.

Praying for my boy and his family in this time of grief and sorrow. Lay Your healing hand upon them. Comfort them by letting them feel Your presence.
Praying for those who are ill and or facing health issues. Praying for their healing, recovery, wellness and awakening. Give them the strength they need to make the necessary changes needed for a healthy lifestyle anchored in You.
Praying for the persecuted and homeless. And their persecutors. For they face challenges beyond their control or ability to change their lives. Chained by fear and hate. Lacking courage and love. So help them Lord.
Remembering all of mine that have passed on to You. Mom, Dub, Dad, Abuelita and Abuelito, Titi Evelyn and Fernando, Nana and Coco, Titi Lisa and Manuel, Louie, Rosa, Titi Mary, Harold, Titi Gladys, Titi Nelly, Abuelo Angel, Abuela, Bryce, Robert, Matthew, David and David, Peggy, and Terri, all those not listed but often remembered. Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, Holy Spirit within me.
My Transfigured Lord, You spoke Your divine will to the great leaders of old on a high mountain. You also entrusted Your mission to the disciples on a holy mountain. Please give me the grace and determination I also need to journey with You up the mountain of prayer so that I will be entrusted with the mission You give to me. For Your glory and honor. Starting with passing on through example my faith and trust in You, Your Word, Your truths to each of mine. Here I am Lord listening.
Continue to walk and speak to me and mine through Your Word, the prophets and saints, and all those driven by the same purpose. To love, honor, know and obey You.
Oh that You would continue to bless and protect us.

Praying for my boy and his family in this time of grief and sorrow. Lay Your healing hand upon them. Comfort them by letting them feel Your presence.
Praying for those who are ill and or facing health issues. Praying for their healing, recovery, wellness and awakening. Give them the strength they need to make the necessary changes needed for a healthy lifestyle anchored in You.
Praying for the persecuted, addicted and homeless. For they face challenges beyond their control or ability to change their lives. So help them Lord.
Remembering all of mine that have passed on to You. Mom, Dub, Dad, Abuelita and Abuelito, Titi Evelyn and Fernando, Nana and Coco, Titi Lisa and Manuel, Louie, Rosa, Titi Mary, Harold, Titi Gladys, Titi Nelly, Abuelo Angel, Abuela, Bryce, Robert, Matthew, David and David, Peggy, and Terri, all those not listed but often remembered. Bless and heal those still grieving from their loss.
Lord, I am also praying for a true awakening and revival. One that unites us in the name of Jesus. And stops the polarization and division of believers and nones. Only You can bring this into being. So I pray.
