Psalms 23:1-6
A psalm of David.
The LORD is my shepherd;
there is nothing I lack.
In green pastures he makes me lie down;
to still waters he leads me; He restores my soul. He guides me along right paths for the sake of his name.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff comfort me.
You set a table before me in front of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Indeed, goodness and mercy will pursue me
all the days of my life;
I will dwell in the house of the LORD for endless days.
Daily Catholic Wisdom…
The most important question to be able to answer in a concrete, specific, personal way at any moment is, "How is God loving me right now?" This is our anchor. Without it, we are adrift amid forces around us and within us that are incomprehensible. The particular, personal love of God for us in this moment is our life, our existence, and our all. Apart from this love, we are nothing and can do nothing.

A prayer…
Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, only You know our hearts, even better than we do ourselves. As bad as I feel when I stumble and fail, is worse seeing one of mine do it… I think of You and want to know they are turning and talking to You as I try do. Talking it through with You, confessing, asking for forgiveness and truly repenting. But that’s really between You and them. All I can do is try the be an example through my ‘One Walk with Jesus’, by obedience and in prayer for them without ceasing. Asking that Your will be done. And that You help them understand and use it for Your glory. So praying is what I am doing. For them, for the hurt and suffering, for all those walking without You, for Your Church, our Country, and leaders, ministers and priests You have put in place. Help each in Your special way according to Your will. Giving each enough wisdom and love to get them through today.
In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
