My Daily Prayers and Readings for 04/04/2013

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

Abba Father, in name Jesus, and through the Holy Spirit within me I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Focused forward with eyes of faith on the now of each moment. Walking as one with You today, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power.(r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying in through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in our path. Asking that whenever we speak, words may be given to us, so that we will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 04/02/2013

Now Jesus was going up to Jerusalem. On the way, he took the Twelve aside and said to them, “We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!”

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Abba Father thank You for loving me enough to send Your Son Jesus Christ to do what I could not. Through the Holy Spirit within me and in His name, Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For my one walk in and with You today, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of fear, worry, judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power.(r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying in through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.
