My Daily Prayers and Readings for 09/17/2013

Words from the mouth of the wise are gracious, but fools are consumed by their own lips.

< >< My Prayer >< >

Lord God, my Source of Source. I pray and come to You for calmness despite who or what rises against me 1. To renew a steadfast spirit. To quiet my voice, so I can listen to and feel the Spirit. For connected with You in the Spirit, in the conscious now of each moment is the only way You can create and maintain a pure heart within me. A heart likened to Jesus’. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power because I cover myself with Your armor. (r or l)  Knowing that nothing nothing matters this day, unless I can spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying without ceasing for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will, and for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words 2 may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk.In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 07/19/2013

Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, which some have professed and in so doing have departed from the faith.

Lord God through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Guarding what You have entrusted to me.1 Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power.(r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. One walk in and with You today, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people.. Praying in through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Abba Father through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For my one walk in and with You today, as an example 1 of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying in and through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. My Daily Prayers and Readings for 06/13/2013

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

Abba Father through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For my one walk in and with You today, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Remembering in each moment that ‘we are members of one body, the body of Jesus Christ, and one evidence of the Spirit’s work in our lives is the extent to which we can live at peace with each other. Relationships that hum with peace—these are an unexpected surprise in our world that clamors for its own way. And although peace is a gift of the Spirit, it is also work—hard work. Getting along with people when we like them is hard enough, and how much more difficult when we don’t. To work for peace in our relationships will require that we no longer insist that others meet perfect standards of performance. To work for peace in our relationships requires that we put aside our grievances and forbear and forgive. To work for peace in our relationships demands the kind of sustained humility that was Christ’s. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. 1 So I stay strong in You and Your almighty power.(r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying in through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel.
