The Father

What do you think of Jesus Christ? Whose Son is he?

No one knows who the Son of God is, except the Father in heaven: and no one can know who the Father is, except the Son and those to whom the Son will reveal him. Until now you have not known him as I do; but I have come, sent from him to you.

The One who has sent me is present with me now. There is no separation between us, for I always do what pleases him. In fact, in seeing me you have seen the Father. Why then do you keep saying, "Reveal God to us?" Do you not believe that I am one, and equal with my Father?

I and my Father are one. Everything that the Father has is mine. I have come from the Father to this world; I will leave this world again, and return to my Father.

The Son can do nothing on his own, but does only what he sees the Father do. The Father loves the Son, and has revealed to him his universal plan; and you will witness even greater miracles than those which you have already seen. Even as the Father raises the dead and gives new life, so the son will give new life to whomever he will.

And yet, I can do nothing on my own; I judge only as God guides me; my ways are perfect because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father who has sent me. As the Father has the power to give life, so the Son has the gift of life, and has been given the authority to execute judgment, because he is the Messiah, the Son of Man.

I have said this from the beginning: there is much in your lives that I could condemn, but I have come with another message, given to me by the One who is the truth. This is the message that I speak to the world.

When at last you lift up the Son of Man (on the cross), you will know who I am, realizing that I did nothing according to my own plan or authority, but delivered to you the words which my Father instructed me to proclaim.

V

Abba, Father, Lord God, thankful and humbly, I keep up the fight to grow closer to You in obedience to my source of source which like a raging river flows through the universe breaking that which seeks its own will until one finds his own will in You through Jesus in the Spirit. O that You would bless me indeed, enlarge my territory, keep me from evil and from causing pain. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Numbers 24:2-7, 15-17
Psalm 25:4-9

4  Make me to know thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.  5  Lead me in thy truth, and teach me, for thou art the God of my salvation; for thee I wait all the day long.  6  Be mindful of thy mercy, O LORD, and of thy steadfast love, for they have been from of old.  7  Remember not the sins of my youth, or my transgressions; according to thy steadfast love remember me, for thy goodness’ sake, O LORD!  8  Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in the way.  9  He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.
Matthew 21:23-27

23  And when he entered the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came up to him as he was teaching, and said, "By what authority are you doing these things, and who gave you this authority?"  24  Jesus answered them, "I also will ask you a question; and if you tell me the answer, then I also will tell you by what authority I do these things.  25  The baptism of John, whence was it? From heaven or from men?" And they argued with one another, "If we say, `From heaven,’ he will say to us, `Why then did you not believe him?’  26  But if we say, `From men,’ we are afraid of the multitude; for all hold that John was a prophet."  27  So they answered Jesus, "We do not know." And he said to them, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.

There’s No Such Thing as "Business" Ethics (Unabridged) Best-selling author and expert on leadership John C. Maxwell claims there is only one rule for business. How does a person judge what is ethical? Sometimes it’s clear. You know Enron’s leaders were in the wrong. But is it always easy to see where the line is in your life? What’s the standard? And can it work in all situations? John C. Maxwell thinks it can. When the New York Times best-selling author, successful businessman, and former pastor was asked about his thoughts on business ethics, his response was, "There’s no such thing. There’s only ethics." Maxwell asserts there’s one ethical standard for all behavior. And you might be surprised by what it’s based on. Did you know that a variation of the Golden Rule exists in every major religion? In There’s No Such Thing as Business Ethics, Maxwell shows how people can live with integrity by using the Golden Rule as their standard (regardless of religion, culture, or circumstances). Along the way, he delves into the desires of the human heart, reveals the five most common causes that get people off track ethically, and teaches how to develop the Midas touch when it comes to integrity.

The Power of Prayer

Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, and your joy will be full.

The prophet Isaiah has written: "My house shall be called by all nations a house of prayer."

Pray then, to the Father who hears your most intimate prayers and rewards them openly; and whatever you ask the Father in my name, he will provide. If you live your life in me, and let my words live in you, you may ask what you wish and it will be given to you.

Pray in this manner:

“Our Father in heaven, may all the earth recognize that you are the one and holy God.

May your kingdom dwell among us. May your purpose be accomplished on earth, as it is in heaven. Provide us with daily bread to sustain us, and forgive our falling short. Help us to forgive those who have wronged us. Keep us from wandering into faithlessness, and deliver us from the evil one. For to you belongs all power and glory, eternally. Let it be so."

Many wealthy people are disposed to use their abundance not to swell their own pride but to perform works of benevolence. They consider their greatest gain what they spend to alleviate the distress of others. This virtue is open to all men, no matter what their class or condition, because all can be equal in their willingness to give, however unequal they may be in earthly fortune.

Isaiah 61:1-2, 10-11

1  The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good tidings to the afflicted; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;  2  to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn;  10  I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall exult in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.  11  For as the earth brings forth its shoots, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to spring up, so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
Luke 1:46-50, 53-54

46  And Mary said, "My soul magnifies the Lord,  47  and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,  48  for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden. For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed;  49  for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name.  50  And his mercy is on those who fear him from generation to generation.  53  he has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent empty away.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-24

16  Rejoice always,  17  pray constantly,  18  give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.  19  Do not quench the Spirit,  20  do not despise prophesying,  21  but test everything; hold fast what is good,  22  abstain from every form of evil.  23  May the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  24  He who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.
John 1:6-8, 19-28

6  There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.  7  He came for testimony, to bear witness to the light, that all might believe through him.  8  He was not the light, but came to bear witness to the light.  19  And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, "Who are you?"  20  He confessed, he did not deny, but confessed, "I am not the Christ."  21  And they asked him, "What then? Are you Elijah?" He said, "I am not." "Are you the prophet?" And he answered, "No."  22  They said to him then, "Who are you? Let us have an answer for those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?"  23  He said, "I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, `Make straight the way of the Lord,’ as the prophet Isaiah said."  24  Now they had been sent from the Pharisees.  25  They asked him, "Then why are you baptizing, if you are neither the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the prophet?"  26  John answered them, "I baptize with water; but among you stands one whom you do not know,  27  even he who comes after me, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie."  28  This took place in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.

This Generation

Whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in these days of sin and non-belief of that person, the Son of Man will be ashamed when he returns in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

John, the forerunner, came and lived among you in great austerity. Everyone said: "He must be possessed of a demon."

Now the Son of Man has come to you, enjoying life, and you say: "He is a drunkard and a glutton, and the friend of sinners!" With such brilliance, you justify your own inconsistency.

Oh generation, who live your lives based on lies: how can you, being without truth, say anything worth hearing? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

When it is evening, you say: "It will be fair weather, for the sky is red."

In the morning you say: "It will be foul weather today, for the sky is threatening."

With accuracy you forecast a change in the weather. How is it that you have failed to discern the signs of the times?

Come unto me all who are tired, oppressed, and sick of life, and I will give you wonderful rest! Receive my words and let me teach you, for I am gentle and kind. You will find rest for your souls. That which I ask of you is for your benefit, and that which I demand of you is light.

Those who have chosen to follow me in this generation will one day sit upon thrones and judge kingdoms and kings who have hardened their hearts and turned away from these righteous words.

Abba, Father, Lord God, thankful for Your blessings, humbled by the reality of my nature, I feel empty, void of the grace and mercy needed for others; so I come to You seeking, asking and praying for my daily bread to feed and fill me with Your love, compassion and understanding. I seek refuge in Your presence and rest and peace in Your arms. Pull me close, carry me if You must, take me past myself and above my nature. Liken my heart to that of my Lord Jesus’ and keep me from causing any pain. O for the sake of His sorrowful passion have mercy on us and on the whole world. Help us to keep our hearts open and to seek only to You when we are tired and sick of life under the sun, to rest and receive Your Words, the Words spoken by Jesus, the Words of live, the Words that feed our souls, comforting us when we draw near and convicting us when we drift away. O Lord God keep me close, in Jesus light my path, through the Spirit guide my thoughts, words and actions. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

The Great Commission

Let those who are spiritually dead attend to their earthly concerns; but you go and proclaim the coming of the kingdom of God to the waiting world.

There is a great harvest before you, but sadly, the laborers are few. Pray to the Lord of the harvest that he will send more laborers to gather in his harvest. No one who puts his hand to the plough and then looks back is suitable for the kingdom of God .

If you believe in me, you will do the same works that I do. Even greater works will you accomplish, for I must return to my Father in Heaven. If you wish to serve me, follow me; and where I am, there you, my servant, will be as well, honored by my Father.

Go announce to the world: "The kingdom of heaven has come to dwell among you."

Heal the sick, restore the lepers to health , raise the dead, and cast out devils! Remember what I have told you: "Freely you have received. Freely give!"

If you are not for me, you are against me; and they that do not gather with me, scatter.

V

Abba, Father, Lord God, thankful, aware, humble I cannot help but grow anxious and my anxiousness creates doubt; help me fight doubt with faith, and anxiousness with hope through my believe in Jesus as my Savior, the One who restores me with You and helps teach and guide me in knowing and understanding Your ways and my weak nature. For under the sun we allow ourselves as I have to be tricked into thinking we know, we can, we are, but in and through Jesus we are awakened to truth of how You as our Source or Source makes us what and who we are, all of which is fulfilled only in and with You. How complicated when viewed or discerned with a mind raised under the sun to accept, but with the innocence of our youth, that of a child it all becomes so easy to accept – yeah seek and desire. O that You would for the sake of His sorrowful passion have mercy on us, and on the whole world. And open our hearts to and for Jesus by standing up firmly for His name and this His season, and in doing so relive that innocence, and be prepared to tell His story the real story of Christmas. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

The Promise of the Spirit

It is the Spirit that has the power to give life.

If you love me, then keep my commandments. And I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another comforter to be with you forever. His is the breath of truth. The world does not accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you will know him, for he will dwell with you, and in you.

I will not leave you comfortless. Now it is necessary for you that I go away; for if I do not leave, the Comforter, the very breath of God, will not come to dwell among you. If I depart, I will send him to you.

When he has come, he will reveal to the world what is sin, and what is righteousness and judgment. Sin, because you do not believe in me; righteousness, because I go to my Father, and you will not see me; judgment, because the oppressive power of the prince of this world has been broken.

I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot understand them just now. However, when the breath of God has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak of himself; but whatever he hears, that he will speak, showing you those things that are to come.

He will praise me and glorify me, by revealing my glory to you. All of the Father’s glory is mine as well. This is why I am able to make this promise to you: the Spirit will reveal my divine nature to you. If your child asked of you bread, would you offer a stone? If your child asked fish to eat, would you offer a snake? Would you serve a scorpion to the little ones who ask for an egg?

If you then, being of this earth, know how to provide good things for your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the breath of God to those who ask him?

When the Comforter, the Spirit of truth, whom I will send to you from the Father has come, he will testify of me. He will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I have told you.

V

Abba, Father, Lord God, bless me indeed, humbly I ask and pray with all thanksgiving reveal Thy will and guide me in that direction; helping me through Jesus in the Spirit to overcome myself and the ways under the sun with a discerning mind for Christ and a heart likened to His. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

This Generation

Whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in these days of sin and non-belief of that person, the Son of Man will be ashamed when he returns in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Still non-believing, this obstinate generation clamours for a sign; but no sign will be granted other than the sign that was given to the prophet Jonah. For just as Jonah was in the great deep for three days and nights, so the Son of Man will be three days and nights entombed in the earth.

There will come a day when the inhabitants of Nineveh , called the City of Thieves , will stand and pass judgment on this generation and condemn it. For they repented because of the preaching of Jonah, and now one greater than Jonah stands before you.

The Queen of Sheba will also rise to pass judgment on this generation and condemn it; for she traveled a great distance to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, one greater than Solomon has come.

How can I describe this generation? They are like children sitting in the market place, calling to their friends: "We have played merrily on our flutes; but you would not dance or sing. We have played a dirge; but you have refused to be sad."

John, the forerunner, came and lived among you in great austerity. Everyone said: "He must be possessed of a demon."

Abba, Father, Lord God, thankful and humble I ask and pray that You would bless me and mine indeed, enlarging our territory, keeping us from evil, and from causing pain. All the long listening for You, seeking You will first, and with the help and guidance of Jesus doing it. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Isaiah 40:25-31

31  ..they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
Psalm 103:1-4, 8, 10

8  The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.  10  He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor requite us according to our iniquities.
Matthew 11:28-30

28  But he said, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!"  29  When the crowds were increasing, he began to say, "This generation is an evil generation; it seeks a sign, but no sign shall be given to it except the sign of Jonah.  30  For as Jonah became a sign to the men of Nin’eveh, so will the Son of man be to this generation.

The Processes: Ask and It Is Given, Volume 2 (Unabridged) Ask and It Is Given, by Esther and Jerry Hicks, which presents the teachings of the nonphysical entity Abraham, will help you learn how to manifest your desires so that you’re living the joyous and fulfilling life you deserve. As you listen, you’ll discover powerful processes that will help you go with the positive flow of life. It’s your birthright to live a life filled with everything that is good, and this audio program will show you how to make it so in every way!

The Words of Jesus of Nazareth by Lee Cantelon
