My Daily Prayers and Readings for 10/09/2011

Abba Father it is You that I want to follow, You I revere, in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus today; obedient and in control of myself ready to serve, hold fast to You promise. Make me a channel of Your peace, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Abba Father I will not let my weakness separate me from You again, I trust in You, Your Words and Your Promise, in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I know that in my weakness You will make me strong; so I pray that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus today. Make me a channel of Your peace, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. Abba Father I look for You In every moment, seeking to server Your will, and I pray in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, giving me the courage to keep trying, to not give up, with eyes of faith for my one walk in and with Jesus today. Make me a channel of Your peace, having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; and if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others as You love us. This I ask and pray in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
