My Daily Prayers and Readings for 02/23/2013
“If you love those who love you, what merit is there in that?”

Abba Father through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within us. For only from here, in and through You can we hope to be able to love everyone and from prepare for our one walk in and with You today; as channels of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power, by putting on Your full armor by standing firm with the belt of Your truth buckled around our waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with our feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. Taking up the shield of faith, with which we can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one who lurks in each moment waiting to separate us from You. Wearing the helmet of salvation and carrying the sword of the Spirit, which is Your word. Praying in through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in our path. Asking that whenever we speak, words may be given to us, so that we will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.(r or l) Remembering that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
