“To the angel of the Church in Sardis, write this:
“‘The one who has the seven spirits of God
and the seven stars says this: “I know your works,
that you have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead.
Be watchful and strengthen what is left, which is going to die,
for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God.
Remember then how you accepted and heard; keep it, and repent.
If you are not watchful, I will come like a thief,
and you will never know at what hour I will come upon you.
However, you have a few people in Sardis
who have not soiled their garments;
they will walk with me dressed in white,
because they are worthy.“‘
The victor will thus be dressed in white,
and I will never erase his name from the book of life

Gospel Luke 19:1-10

At that time Jesus came to Jericho and intended to pass through the town.
Now a man there named Zacchaeus,
who was a chief tax collector and also a wealthy man,
was seeking to see who Jesus was;
but he could not see him because of the crowd,
for he was short in stature.
So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree in order to see Jesus,
who was about to pass that way.
When he reached the place, Jesus looked up and said,
“Zacchaeus, come down quickly,
for today I must stay at your house.”
And he came down quickly and received him with joy.
When they saw this, they began to grumble, saying,
“He has gone to stay at the house of a sinner.”
But Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord,
“Behold, half of my possessions, Lord, I shall give to the poor,
and if I have extorted anything from anyone
I shall repay it four times over.”
And Jesus said to him,
“Today salvation has come to this house
because this man too is a descendant of Abraham.
For the Son of Man has come to seek
and to save what was lost.”

As Jesus approached Jericho
a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging,
and hearing a crowd going by, he inquired what was happening.
They told him,
“Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.”
He shouted, “Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me!”
The people walking in front rebuked him,
telling him to be silent,
but he kept calling out all the more,
“Son of David, have pity on me!”
Then Jesus stopped and ordered that he be brought to him;
and when he came near, Jesus asked him,
“What do you want me to do for you?”
He replied, “Lord, please let me see.”
Jesus told him, “Have sight; your faith has saved you.”
He immediately received his sight

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You for today. For reminding us how important it is fir us to grow in You, and let You grow in us. We cannot allow any complacency in our spiritual walk. We must take Your hand and hold on tightly. Praying without ceasing and serving with Your eyes.
Hear my prayers Lord, for me and mine, and for the whole world; believers and nonbelievers. For what we believers take for granted, the nonbelievers seek to take away. Help us Lord to act with urgency.
Jesus, Mary, I love You, save souls.

When one finds a worthy wife,
her value is far beyond pearls.
Her husband, entrusting his heart to her,
has an unfailing prize.
She brings him good, and not evil,
all the days of her life.
She obtains wool and flax
and works with loving hands.
She puts her hands to the distaff,

She reaches out her hands to the poor,

‘Master, I knew you were a demanding person,
harvesting where you did not plant
and gathering where you did not scatter;

So you knew that I harvest where I did not plant
and gather where I did not scatter?
Should you not then have put my money in the bank
so that I could have got it back with interest on my return?

Jesus told his disciples a parable
about the necessity for them to pray always without becoming weary.
He said, “There was a judge in a certain town
who neither feared God nor respected any human being.
And a widow in that town used to come to him and say,
‘Render a just decision for me against my adversary.’
For a long time the judge was unwilling, but eventually he thought,
‘While it is true that I neither fear God nor respect any human being,
because this widow keeps bothering me
I shall deliver a just decision for her
lest she finally come and strike me.’”
The Lord said, “Pay attention to what the dishonest judge says.
Will not God then secure the rights of his chosen ones
who call out to him day and night?
Will he be slow to answer them?
I tell you, he will see to it that justice is done for them speedily.
But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You the wisdom and understanding hidden in Your Word for those who believe in Your truths. For it is in Your Word that You reveal the Your mysteries to those who seek truth.
Thank You for Your blessings and each of mine. Thank You for giving us a President Trump, a true leader. Flawed like all of us but a man after Your heart. Filled with love; love for You and for his country. Continue to guide and protect him. Especially in this hour of trial as he faces defeat. Walk with him as with David. Show him the way to do what You want him to do. Many are watching and praying for him. Help them stayed focused on You and not lose perspective that Your will, will be done. The bigger story. The story of the Gospels.

Today’s Action Item: Be the kingdom of God on earth.

My prayer…

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You for today. For all Your blessings. For each of mine. For Word the lights our walk.
The Church and the world is changing before our eyes, just has the Blessed Virgin our Holy Mother foretold at Fatima. But has with all Your mysteries and Jesus’s return. Only You know what tomorrow holds. We need to focus on today. We need to develop and practice the beatitudes, no matter what we see, hear or experience. It’s not easy, and the evil one uses our fears and weaknesses to stop us from walking with Jesus. But we must fight evil. We must take Jesus’s hand and hold on. Don’t lose hope.
Prayer without ceasing.
Jesus, Mary, I love You, save souls.
