My Daily Prayers and Readings for 12/20/2010

Your Glory remains hidden to many, but blessed are we who have seen Your face in others and have felt Your love from others. My Titi was one of my biggest blessings, today she returned home to You and is at rest, united with her Negro. Through her journey You blessed me with much, the most of which is reflected in her love and relationship with my Mom; opposite as two can be their bound and love taught me much. Then there is my cousin and her family; such strength and devotion is a blessing to see, serving witness to true faith and the fact that there are angels among us. Every time I think of her and my sisters I am humbled by their love, strength and faith. O that You would bless them all, holding them close through this time of mixed sorrow and joy; and give Titi a hug and kiss for me, and tell her I love her.
Abba Father in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus today. Asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Today – WHEN I JOINED THE RANKS of humanity, born into the humblest conditions, My Glory was hidden from all but a few people. Occasionally, streaks of Glory shone out of Me, especially when I began to do miracles. Toward the end of My life, I was taunted and tempted to display more of My awesome Power than My Father’s plan permitted. I could have called down legions of angels to rescue Me at any point. Imagine the self-control required of a martyr who could free Himself at will! All of this was necessary to provide the relationship with Me that you now enjoy. Let your life become a praise song to Me by proclaiming My glorious Presence in the world.
