And behold, a woman who had suffered from a hemorrhage for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment; for she said to herself, "If I only touch his garment, I shall be made well." Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, "Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well." And instantly the woman was made well. And when Jesus came to the ruler’s house, and saw the flute players, and the crowd making a tumult, he said, "Depart; for the girl is not dead but sleeping." And they laughed at him. But when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. And the report of this went through all that district.

Abba, Father, Lord God, thankful yesterday and grateful for today I come to You to ask and pray. To for You to bless this day and to pray for all those I lift up to You in thought and prayer today. For You know my intent is not to ask for that which is not Your will, but to seek Your will, and to ask for Your help in accepting, understanding and learning how to put each event and thing to use and work for You. To trust only in Jesus and to become one in the Spirit with Him and You; so guide my thoughts, words and actions accordingly today, letting faith be what feeds me, hope what drives me, and love what comes forth from me. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
