One Walk

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 05/18/2012

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.

Abba Father keep me focused on what is important to You… avoiding compromise… making a conscious effort to adhere to Your truths… always demonstrating a pattern of godly transformation. Let the Holy Spirit empower me to make the changes necessary to be more like Christ in every way, every day. In the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus today. Make me a channel of Your peace, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 05/17/2012

I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.

Abba Father thank You for transforming my heart, head, hands and habits so that, like Paul, I can exalt You through my life. Infuse me with humility, confidence, and courage that are born out of a vibrant relationship with You. Let others see Your work in me and take hope that You can do the same for them. In the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus today. My Daily Prayers and Readings for 05/16/2012

The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

Abba Father the ways under the sun feed our fallen nature to the extent that some days it becomes all about me, me first, me most, poor me, what about me. Yet I know true joy and peace is in and through the Son by keeping it all about others, putting others first and keeping me third after You and others. But some times and more and more with some people it seems like I am dealing with the black hole of human nature which test and takes me beyond my ability and capability. So I humbly ask in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me. Teach me how to stay filled in Jesus to the extent that there is always more of Him and less of me. Help me make my one walk in and with Jesus a reality and not a phrase or dream. Keep me filled with Your peace and love, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Abba Father clear my mind of distractions; focus me on You alone. Creator and Sovereign of the universe, You deserve all praise; You are unfolding Your plan even as I bow before You now. My heart is confident in You; ready me for Your purposes; set my mind on exalting You alone. In the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus. Make me a channel of Your peace and love, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
