One Walk

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 06/04/2012

The hearts of the wise make their mouths prudent, and their lips promote instruction.

< >< My Prayer >< >

Abba Father fill my heart with wisdom from Your lips so that my lips will speak Your truth today. All of my thoughts pale in comparison to the life-giving nature of Your wisdom and words. May my words point people to You. I ask in Jesus’ name, in whose name I live and lead. In the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus today. Make me a channel of Your peace, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 06/02/2012

Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Abba Father all I can do is look to You. For my own reason defies me and logic eludes me. Lost in the unknown, drowning in doubt and keeping fear at arms length I come to You in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit. I ask and pray that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, through whatever lies ahead for me and mine. Make me a channel of Your peace, love, understanding and forgiveness. Standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 06/01/2012

You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Abba Father how good it is to be Your companion as I journey through life. Show me the path of life today, fill me with joy in Your presence, and lead me into the future You have planned. Help me to live, love, and lead like You as we walk together today. In the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus today. Abba Father I will pray that today will be an authentic day in which You lead me down Your chosen path for me. I pray that the road You have put me on is blessed and full of opportunities to touch others. I pray for the confidence to fully share my weaknesses and struggles with others so I might grow and help others along the way. I specifically pray about sharing my experiences with others. I will pray for this today and the next day and the next. I will remember that no matter what it is grace that saves me. I ask in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus today. But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children— with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.

Abba Father Mighty One, Lord, God my Savior, You have done great things in my life and in the lives of Your people throughout time. Thank You for revealing Yourself to us. I praise You today with a grateful heart, especially for sending Jesus, in whose name I pray, that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus today.
