One Walk

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 08/31/2012

The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.”

Abba Father, ‘Lord God, Great “I AM,” You are my life-source, my source of source who restores me physically, emotionally and spiritually. Thank You for caring about my well-being. Remind me to come away with You to hear Your whisper and be replenished for servanthood. Remind me that You are still (and always) at work; remind me to listen for Your word, which is more than enough to lead me into the future.’ Create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus. Make me a channel of Your peace and love, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 08/30/2012

Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household,

Abba Father in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, For I know no matter how I feel or what I am facing, this must be my starting point. If I am to balance the highs and the lows, I must start here. If I hope to be a channel of Your peace and love, I must remain and or be able to get back here in the now of every moment. My one walk in and with Jesus must be conscious and interactive. Standing having girded my waist with truth is the foundation, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness is preparation, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace is a constant reminder; but above all, I must take and use the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one, who roams around me waiting to use whatever he can to create doubt or fear and disconnect me from You. Oh that You would continue to bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; and the doubt and fear of the world and ways under the sun.  Always reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Abba Father in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus. Make me a channel of His peace and love. Teach me to think as one with Him. Help me to stand having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Continue to bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; and remind us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 08/28/2012

Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

Abba Father what does it really mean to believe. Is it obedience. Does it mean to follow. I think of this often throughout the day as things unfold; looking back I know it is this and more. It is reflecting Your presence within me in all I do, say and think; and most importantly not giving up when I don’t.  For while I may die a thousand times each day, I must always rise with and in Jesus. Asking in His name through the Holy Spirit that You create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Make me a channel of Your peace and love, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 08/27/2012

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.

Abba Father doubt surrounds me. I know I believe, help my unbelief. In the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Help be build from there for my one walk in and with Jesus. Make me a channel of Your peace and love, overcoming myself in the moments that test my belief. Help me to stand having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain. Help us to forgive and forget the moments of unbelief. Remind us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. Help us to walk in love. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 08/26/2012

For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

Abba Father our fallen nature keeps us focused on self, yet we must deny ourselves, dying to self to be there for others. I start each day asking in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit that You create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus. I try to focus on Jesus and what He would do so I can be a channel of Your peace and love, and others will want to know You because of they see You in me. I must stand having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. I ask that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; and remind us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.

Abba Father there is peace in You, a peace we cannot find under the sun. Your Words are truth and Your laws guide us along the narrow path we have chosen. We get there by how we handle all the moments that string together in the present that create tomorrow and become yesterday. We must stay present in the moment with You, stay positive in the moment with You, win the battle in the moment with You. We choose, to be in the moment with or without You. I choose with You. Help me in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit by creating a pure heart in me, likened to Jesus’, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus. Make me a channel of Your peace and love. Help me prepare for the moment by standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. I ask that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; and remind us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us.
