One Walk

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 08/09/2012

Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Abba Father with eyes of faith and in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus today. Make me a channel of Your peace and love, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 08/08/2012

For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.

Abba Father while the days get busy and I lose control of my time to sit one on one with You, I keep my mind and heart on You. I cry out in short burst of love, gratitude, fear or anxiousness; or just to ask for Your help and blessings. I practice Your presence and I always ask in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit that You create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For I seek one walk in and with Jesus, to be a channel of Your peace and love, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; it is he who will save us.

Abba Father only You can save me from myself and keep me on the narrow path back home to You. Your words are truth, Your laws firm. Only You are able to judge us under the sun. So in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus. Help me to be a channel of Your peace and love, always standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Remind me to keep my thoughts on the needs of others and not mine. Make me a channel of Your peace and love. Help me to stand having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us.
