One Walk

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 08/18/2012

For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

< >< My Prayer >< >

Abba Father in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus today. There are so many in need of healing, forgiveness, mercy and grace; and there is so much to distract me, including my own selfish ways and pride that I need You close. My source of source, from Whom I all I need, and in Whom I live. Oh make me a channel of Your peace and love, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one as he uses my desires and weaknesses against me. I pray for Your continued blessings for me and mine, awaken us to Your will and help in fulfillment of Your purpose for each of us, and guard us from evil and pain. Always reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. For we are all Your servants, here to do the work You put before us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 08/17/2012

But, “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.

Abba Father as opposite as it is to the ways under the sun I know that it is in humility that reflect Your presence most. Just as You are my source of source, the source of my humility is a pure heart, and a steadfast spirit, and one walk in and with Jesus. Standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always praying that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 08/16/2012

Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.

Abba Father in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I ask that You create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus. I pray for healing and Your continued blessings, asking that You awaken mine to Your will and purpose for us as a family. A purpose that I believe is only obtainable in and with You. Make us a channel of Your peace and love, standing having girded our waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which we will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Reminding us that if we get nothing else done each day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 08/15/2012

If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

Abba Father I am Yours and only at real peace when one on one with You in this time each day. I look to Jesus Christ who lives within me through the Holy Spirit and I pray that You create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Him. I ask that You make me a channel of Your peace and love, and help me stand strong in my faith having girded my waist with Your truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. I ask that You continue to bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain. I humbly ask that You lay Your healing hand upon my sons feet; performing yet another miracle. A visible reminder us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 08/14/2012

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

Abba Father I hear Your call and open the door. Help me to stay focused and not let anything distract me from You and what I know needs to first; You, my boys healing and my girls move. So many things are there to steal my focus if I let them. But I know I need a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit, for my one walk in and with Jesus. To be a channel of Your peace and love, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Focused always praying that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. Let this be mine and our focus. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Abba Father we must remind ourselves about purpose, we must seek Your will to fulfill that purpose. We must practice Your presence and walk to narrow path. We must start each day asking in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit that You create in us a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within us, for our one walk in and with Jesus. We must walk as a channel of Your peace and love, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. We must humbly ask that You bless us and our love ones in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

Make me a channel of Your peace and love, an example of Your workmanship. Standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Help me to find the energy and determination to get back to the physical condition that honors the physical gift you have given me. I pray the You will bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
