My Daily Prayers and Readings for 03/10/2013
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

Abba Father, Your Words speak and touch me like no others. So while under the sun it may not make sense to trust more in what is unseen than what is seen. I know what I have seen leads nowhere and yet what I have felt gives me faith and hope in eternity through Jesus Christ who strengthens me in and through love. So through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For my one walk in and with You. As channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. I must stay strong in You and Your almighty power, by putting on Your full armor by standing firm with the belt of Your truth buckled around my waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with my feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. Taking up the shield of faith, with which I can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Wearing the helmet of salvation and carrying the sword of the Spirit, which is Your word. Praying in through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.(r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let I spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Giving thanks and praise for all. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
