My Daily Prayers and Readings for 06/20/2013

What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?

< >< My Prayer >< >

Abba Father awakened, yet I wonder. So through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. I believe, yet I ask You to help me with my unbelief. So my one walk in and with You today, will yield fruit, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Even when I stumble, I get up free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. You are my source of source and only by staying strong in You and Your almighty power can I be what You intended me to be.(r or l) So I constantly remind myself, that even if I get nothing else done today, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying in through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 06/19/2013

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Abba Father thank You for the power of Your word. May it accomplish all that You desire in my life today. Through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For my one walk in and with You today, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. The word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Lord, I am humbled that You have given me a role to play in seeing Your kingdom come to reality. Thank You for the confidence that comes from realizing that You have been at work throughout my life to prepare me to be Your servant. May I lead like Jesus today, in His name and for Your glory, amen.1

“Pray, then, in this way:

‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.

‘Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.

‘Give us this day our daily bread.

‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.’

For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.1

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

Abba Father through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For my one walk in and with You today, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Remembering in each moment that ‘we are members of one body, the body of Jesus Christ, and one evidence of the Spirit’s work in our lives is the extent to which we can live at peace with each other. Relationships that hum with peace—these are an unexpected surprise in our world that clamors for its own way. And although peace is a gift of the Spirit, it is also work—hard work. Getting along with people when we like them is hard enough, and how much more difficult when we don’t. To work for peace in our relationships will require that we no longer insist that others meet perfect standards of performance. To work for peace in our relationships requires that we put aside our grievances and forbear and forgive. To work for peace in our relationships demands the kind of sustained humility that was Christ’s. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. 1 So I stay strong in You and Your almighty power.(r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me.
