My Daily Prayers and Readings for 6/12/2013

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.

< >< My Prayer >< >

Lord God, my source of source through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I humbly come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For my one walk in and with You today, as an example of Your work and a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power.(r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying in through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in interactive fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in my path, and dying to myself as Your humble servant. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

God, my source of source, who raised Jesus from death to life, who pours out Your Spirit on Your people, thank You that Jesus is present with me today. You know the challenges that I face, the ones that would cause me to act out of pride and fear. But in You I have hope. I can freely, humbly, and confidently move into this day, aware of Your presence and focused on serving others. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.1

The tongue that brings healing is a tree of life, but a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.

Abba Father my source of source, through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For my one walk in and with You today, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power.(r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying in through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, the words of my mouth will be true and full of grace, bringing healing and encouragement and always pointing to You. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

Jesus, thank You for leading the way in prayer. Whether You bring me crowd-gathering success or lonely stretches of challenges that require more than I seem capable of giving, remind me to humbly seek time with the Father to get His perspective and guidance. In Your name I pray today, Amen.1
