Granted it not always easy, busyness and the distraction of the daily grind can keep us from feeling thankful. So fight to focus on Jesus. Practice His presence and find something to be thankful for in every situation.
I’m thankful for…
Today, this private quite time with Jedus, my family, second chances and new beginnings, Advent and all the traditions of the Church will are there through the generations to help us focus on truth. All the good little things that I see Your hand in. And all the bad times that I can grap Your hand.
A prayer…
Dear Lord God, Abba Father, thank You for today and all Your blessings. I need You, I’m sorry, forgive me, I love You. O that You will continue to bless me and mine, keep us from evil and causing pain. Your word, Your truth is what I cling to to get me through the day. And when I am unable to spend this time with You, as with yesterday. I feel an emptiness all day. Even though I talk to You and always surround myself in Your word and worship music. I need this one to one quite time to feel forgiven for my short comings, to recharge my energy, and to have to show me the way. Here my cry’s and prayers for each of mine. I am so thankful for everything I have. Let Your peace shine through me to help others find what I know I have in You. In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
