Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You for this day. For each of mine. For all Your blessings. For today’s song, verse, thought and devotion. I must admit that the passage we are studying in today’s devotion makes me rather nervous. I’m not sure I like the idea of exposing the fruitless deeds of darkness. I’m so aware of the darkness that remains in my life. Who am I to expose anything in the lives of others? And the last thing I want to do is to become one of those Christians who majors in telling others their sins and railing against the world. Yet I receive your Word as truth. Help me, I pray, to know what you are saying to me and to your church through this verse. Teach me how I can “have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
