“Speak, for Your servant hears.”

February 13, 2020

One Walk with Jesus is knowing you’re in the world, but not of the world… so make the goal of your spiritual life such a close identification with Jesus Christ that you will always hear God and know that God always hears you.

Mark 7:24-30
Jesus went to the district of Tyre.
He entered a house and wanted no one to know about it,
but he could not escape notice.
Soon a woman whose daughter had an unclean spirit heard about him.
She came and fell at his feet.
The woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by birth,
and she begged him to drive the demon out of her daughter.
He said to her, “Let the children be fed first.
For it is not right to take the food of the children
and throw it to the dogs.”
She replied and said to him,
“Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps.”
Then he said to her, “For saying this, you may go.
The demon has gone out of your daughter.”
When the woman went home, she found the child lying in bed
and the demon gone.

Who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?
Esther 4:14

Jesus Calling…

The more your thoughts stay with Me, the more Peace and Joy you’ll have in your life.

The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.
Proverbs 18:10 NKJV

Daily Catholic Wisdom…

Let us humbly number ourselves among the imperfect, see ourselves as little souls. Yes, it is enough to humble oneself and to bear with one’s imperfections meekly. That is true sanctity.
St. Thérèse of Lisieux
quoted in Saint Thérèse of Lisieux: Story of a Life by Guy Gaucher

A prayer…

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, I awake seeking Your presence and fight all day to stay there. Listening and talking with You in each moment. Praying for those You place in my path and for each of mine. Expecting You to convict and correct me when my ways are not Your ways. When my heart is not likened to Your heart. For I know that is the seed You planted in my heart. To walk as one with You, One Walk. Jesus, Mary, I love You, save souls. In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Lords Prayer

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

O my Jesus

O my Jesus, have mercy on us. Forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Take all souls into heaven, especially, those most in need of thy mercy.
Amen.

Nicene Creed

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.
Amen.
