who had won the victory over the beast
and its image and the number that signified its name.
They were holding God’s harps,

The final judgment means there is justice for those treated unjustly. While we cannot control the world’s chaos, we can control our actions. Therefore, God calls us to repent and seek him over all else.

My prayer…

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, Holy Spirit within me.
Powerful reminder in today’s readings Lord. While we cannot control the world’s chaos, we can control our actions. We can guard our hearts and pray for discernment.
Lord, I offer You my crosses, hurts and persecution. I offer to You every way that I have been mistreated. For those small injustices, I beg for mercy. And when the hatred of others causes me or mine much distress, I pray that we will be able to persevere in Your grace.
Hear our prayers. Especially for all of mine that have passed on to You.

Mom, Dub, Dad, Abuelita and Abuelito, Titi Evelyn and Fernando, Nana and Coco, Titi Lisa and Manuel, Louie, David and David, Peggy, Terry and all those not listed but I remember and think of from time to time.
Guard and protect us as we travel today and this weekend. Thank You for all Your blessings. Oh that You will continue to bless and protect us. Teach and guide us. Prepare us.

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, Holy Spirit within me.
Lord, once again Your Word and the reflections for today, strengthen me with courage guiding me through the chaos in the world and Church. Thank you!
Lord, when my world seems to chaos in around me, help me to turn my eyes to You and to trust in Your mercy and grace. Help me to know that You will never abandon me and mine, that You have a perfect plan for all things.
Help me be an example and minister to my family. With Your teaching and guidance showing them Your Truths and how to avoid the lies of this world.

I, John, looked and there was the Lamb standing on Mount Zion,
and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand
who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.
I heard a sound from heaven
like the sound of rushing water or a loud peal of thunder.
The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps.
They were singing what seemed to be a new hymn before the throne,
before the four living creatures and the elders.
No one could learn this hymn except the hundred and forty-four thousand
who had been ransomed from the earth.
These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever he goes.
They have been ransomed as the first fruits
of the human race for God and the Lamb.

We are all like the two thieves on the Cross with Jesus. This is true. The question is, which thief we choose to be. Will we ask Jesus to come into our heart and welcome us into His Kingdom.
As for me and mine, yes! Jesus is our Lord. We walk as one with Him. Welcoming Him into our hearts and every part of our life. We pray without ceasing. Asking Him to walk with us. Bless and protect us. Teach and guide us.
Keeping in our mind, heart and praying for all of mine that have passed on to You.

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, Holy Spirit within me.
Lord as I sit here reading and listening to today’s readings I search and think about what You will tell and teach me today. My mind wonders all over the place. But, I can’t get my mind off us getting together for thanksgiving with mine, and how You has blessed me with each of them. They are each so special and unique in their own way. Yet when we are together we are united as one. Just as I seek oneness with You. And there I’m able to see how You has used each of them to bring me closer to You.
Lord, I do desire to know all that You have revealed. I desire to understand those things that are most confusing and challenging in life. Help me each day to deepen my faith in You and my understanding of Your Truth.
Hear my prayers, and the prayers of each of mine. Continue to walk with us. Teach and guide us. Bless and protect us.

Reading 1 Revelation 5:1-10

I, John, saw a scroll in the right hand of the one who sat on the throne.It had writing on both sides and was sealed with seven seals.Then I saw a mighty angel who proclaimed in a loud voice,“Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?”But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earthwas able to open the scroll or to examine it.I shed many tears because no one was found worthyto open the scroll or to examine it.One of the elders said to me, “Do not weep.The lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has triumphed,enabling him to open the scroll with its seven seals.”
Then I saw standing in the midst of the throneand the four living creatures and the eldersa Lamb that seemed to have been slain.He had seven horns and seven eyes;these are the seven spirits of God sent out into the whole world.He came and received the scroll from the right handof the one who sat on the throne.When he took it,the four living creatures and the twenty-four eldersfell down before the Lamb.Each of the elders held a harp and gold bowls filled with incense,which are the prayers of the holy ones.They sang a new hymn:

As Jesus drew near Jerusalem,

My prayer…

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, Holy Spirit within me.

Lord it’s so easy to think we are following You when things are going well and we give thanks and pray. But what about those moments hidden in the daily trials and busyness of day to day life. When we react out of our natural fallen nature. Finding the way to bring all things through and in You seems so difficult, but yet I strive to. Such oneness that I know my heart is always likened to Yours.
Lord, I beg of You to weed out every bit of indifference in my heart. As You weep over my sin, may those tears wash me and cleanse me so that I may make a total commitment to You as my Divine Lord and King. Showing each of mine my love and total submission to You. Even though I don’t know or understand everything. I trust in You.
Hear my prayers, for each of mine.

And all of mine that have passed on to You.
Mom, Dub, Dad, Abuelita and Abuelito, Titi Evelyn and Fernando, Nana and Coco, Titi Lisa and Manuel, Louie, David and David, Peggy, Terry and all those not listed but I remember and think of from time to time.
